Summer Teams
Shalom Ministries is launching a new, month-long ministry program for college students—Branches of Blessing—and you’re invited! We believe every Christian should experience Israel early in their life and ministry, and this program is designed to help you do exactly that. Imagine a summer packed with missions, outreach, learning, and the chance to walk in the footsteps of Jesus! The adventure begins in the heart of NYC, where you’ll prepare for Israel by experiencing what it was like during the days of the first-century church—sharing Messiah with Jews and Gentiles alike in one of the world’s busiest cities. You’ll also take part in about 15 hours of in-class instruction covering subjects such as:
- The Jewish Contextual Perspective of Biblical Interpretation
- The Feasts of Israel in History and Prophecy
- Jewish Evangelism
You’ll have the opportunity to take what you learn and put it into practice right from the start as you visit local neighborhoods to share the gospel and serve alongside local pastors with outreach to people from all walks of life.
With that preparation and experience, you’ll then travel to Israel for three full weeks and have the opportunity to:
- Team up with our ministry branch and local churches for evangelism and practical service
- Volunteer for projects that reach all kinds of people (Jewish, Arab, and more!)
- Journey through the pages of Scripture by touring key biblical sites
- Worship with congregations across the Land and build relationships with local believers and unbelievers alike
Are you ready for this challenge? We’re asking you to prayerfully consider whether God is leading you to spend your summer making an eternal impact, while having the adventure of a lifetime. This is not just a ministry trip; it is a chance to live the Bible! Would you commit to being a branch of blessing this summer? We would be glad if you joined us!
Dates: May 11–June 10, 2026
Cost: Around $1,500 (airfare, housing, and most meals included but does not cover travel to/from NYC)
